These are the people to blame for this site.
This site was developed and created by Doug Berger.
Doug lives in Columbus, Ohio and is a long time Secular Humanist.
He has been a member of the Humanist Community of Central Ohio since 1994, serving as President in 2000 and 2001. He also was board member for many years, treasurer in 1996, was assistant editor of HCCO's newsletter The Central Ohio Humanist from 1997-1999 and editor 1995 and 2000-present.
In his spare time he writes short fiction, essays on cultural and political issues, and spends way too much time on the Human_ism e-mail list.
Doug came to the Human_ism list when it was created in 1999 but was also on its predecessors humanist and humanism-L going back to 1994.
He also has various websites and weblogs scattered across the Internet where he posts his thoughts and essays. These include Doug World!, Doug's Views, Hancock County Politics Unfiltered, Humanism Expressed, and Cowtown Rant.
In case you may not know he wrote this smashing bio note.
