1958-2000
Dennis left us on April 9th 2000 after some major life changes.
He founded the Human_ism e-mail list after we lost our previous server and he was very active on the Dalnet #atheism IRC channel. He was an Atheist, Humanist, and Freethinker of the first order. His contributions on the Human_ism list were even, fair, and thoughtful and he rarely got over emotional in defending a position in our sometimes heated debates.
Dennis encouraged me to start the iHumanism project and I thank him for that. He will be missed.
I visited his website and have chosen the essay he wrote explaining how he became an Atheist as a prime example of who he was and what we will miss most of all.
